Player settings reference

Every video uses a "player profile" (a saved bundle of settings). You can edit the default profile, duplicate it, or make new ones. A single video can only use one profile at a time, but you can swap profiles on a video without re-uploading it.

Recommendation

Duplicate the default profile before you start changing things. That way you always have a clean fallback. Most accounts end up with three or four profiles (homepage, landing pages, embedded-on-blog, internal) and never need more than that.

Video behavior

  • Autoplay. Autoplay on page load. Modern browsers require muted autoplay, which the player handles automatically.
  • Loop. Restart from the beginning when the video ends.
  • Pause on last frame. Freeze on the final frame instead of showing a replay screen.
  • Go to URL on end. Redirect the page to a URL when playback finishes. Useful for landing pages and video funnels.
  • Chain to next video. Auto-play another video when this one finishes.

Player appearance

  • Colors. Primary color, background, overlay (paid tiers).
  • Control bar. Show or hide individual buttons (play, volume, fullscreen, quality, download).
  • Play button overlay. Big play button on the poster image before the video starts.
  • Thumbnail / poster. Upload your own or pick a frame.
  • Title overlay. Show or hide the video title on the player.
  • Skin. Choose between a minimal skin and the full control set.

Sharing and interaction

  • Sharing buttons. Social share icons (off by default on Branded).
  • Quality switcher. Let viewers pick resolution (1080p / 720p / 480p).
  • Downloads. Allow or block right-click download.
  • Channel list. Show related videos from the same channel.

How to get there

  1. Log in and go to Videos.
  2. Click Settings on the video you want to change.
  3. Pick a profile from the dropdown, or click New, Duplicate, or Edit.
  4. Save, then update the video.
